After that, I want to go into heavy diesel mechanics. I want to travel at some point as well. But for now, I want to stay in Whangarei, close to my family." "That's definitely a benefit of studying here. It's nice to have my whole family close. If something goes wrong, they are like 15 minutes away. If I need something dropped off or need help with something or even just want to have a chat, then they are right there. Mums right there, Dads right there. If I need them, they will be here. "I've explored my passion with NorthTec. They have a large variety of course options and there's a lot more to learn in automotive than I thought. Like welding. I didn't realise you sometimes need to weld while working on cars. That was fun, I liked learning that a lot."
