Cleland Hancox are annual sponsors of the 0ak Lane Jazz Charity Day and active supporters of the Morrinsville Chamber of Commerce. Leean joined Cleland Hancox in 2000, becoming a Director and shareholder in 2008. Leean has served on the CAANZ branch committee and local leadership team, and is known for her commitment to community organizations throughout the Waikato, including chairing the True Colours Children's Health Trust and being treasurer for the Clarence Street Theatre Trust. CAANZ awards its Fellow status only to those who have demonstrated outstanding contribution to the accountancy profession. Leean Bedwell was conferred this honour late last year, for her service and participation, with distinction, to CAANZ and her services to the community.
