Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available form the school office and on our website. If you live outside our school zone and wish for your child to attend Bailey Road Primary and Intermediate School, anytime in 2022, please complete the ballot form [available by emailing p.kahika@baileyroad.school.nz or by visiting the school office] and return by 3pm Wednesday, September 29, 2021. You will be informed in writing by Wednesday October 20, 2021 whether you have been successful or unsuccessful. If unsuccessful you will be informed of the number your child is on the waitlist. The Board of Trustees has determined that 30 new entrants, Year 1 & Year 2 places, and 8 Year 3 & 4 places are likely to be available for enrolments next year. Under the school's enrolment scheme, first priority for these places will be given to preference students for whom the school is reasonably convenient. If local parents who plan to enrol their child at the school next year announce their intention by the date given above, it will greatly assist the board to allocate other places fairly.
