North Canterbury Primary Schools Enrolment Applications for 2021 Pre-enrolment and Balloting Procedures for students living outside of a school zone The Boards of Trustees of Swannanoa, Cust, West Eyreton, Loburn, North Loburn, Te Matauru, Ashley, Southbrook, Fernside, Sefton and Ashgrove invite applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at the above schools for 2021. Enrolment at these schools is governed by an enrolment scheme, the details of which are available from the respective school offices. Applications for out of zone places are now being invited. Is not accepting out of zone enrolments Up to 6 places at the New Entrant level West Eyreton School Up to 10 places from New Entrant to Year 8 Up to 6 places at the New Entrant level Up to 6 places from New Entrant to Year 3 Te Matauru Primary Is not currently accepting out of zone enrolments. Is not accepting out of zone enrolment Swannanoa School Cust School Loburn School Nth Loburn School Ashley School Southbrook School 20 places from New Entrant to Year 8 Fernside School 25 places at New Entrant / Year 1 Sefton School 2 places at New Entrant Ashgrove School 20 places from New Entrant to Year 8 The deadline for receipt of applications for out of zone places is 3pm Wednesday 23 September 2020. If a ballot for out of zone places is required, it will be held on Friday 25 September 2020. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held. If you live in the school zone of one of these schools and have not yet signalled your intention to enrol your child next year, please contact the school immediately to assist us to plan appropriately. Applications from out of zone students will be processed in the following order of priority: First priority will be given to students who have been accepted for enrolment in an approved special programme. (This priority category is not applicable at listed schools.) Second priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students. Third priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students. Fourth priority will be given to applicants who are children of former students. Fifth priority will be given to applicants who are children of board employees. Sixth priority will be given to all other applicants.
