The Whangarei Racing Club is best described as a Provincial Racing Club that has one of the best winter racing surfaces in New Zealand. Ruakaka race course has a unique location on the edge of the Bream Bay coastline – hence it’s logo “where the Turf meets the Surf”. The Club has a dedicated following of loyal supporters in Northland and a reputation for being friendly and hospitable.
