OPEN NIGHT TeAtat INTERMEDIATE SCHO OL TUESDAY 3rd ENROLMENTS FOR 2022 AUGUST 2021 TeAtat 6.30 - 8.00pm The Te Atatü Intermediate Board of Trustees invites applications from parents who wish to enrol their child for 2022. INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL Come along to the Te Atatü Intermediate School Open Night. Enrolment is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school website www.teatatu.school.nz The deadline for receipt of OUT OF ZONE (outside of the Te Atatü Peninsula area) applications is; Wednesday 1" September 2021. 6.30 - 6.50 pm - Opening address and vision for 2022 from the Principal, in the school hll. 6.50 - 8.00 pm - View the school either individually or even as a guided tour by our students around the campus, to see the school in action. All classes will be 'open' for viewing, including specialist classes of Science, Art, Music, Phys Ed, Performing Arts and Technology, as well as general classes. We look forward to seeing you there. Enrolling can be done on the night. For further information about the school, including zoning, and enrolment forms, please visit www.teatatu.school.nz Parents of students who live IN the zone should return their enrolments by 314 August 2021, to assist the school to plan appropriately for 2022. The Board has determined that 25 - 30 places are likely to be available. The exact number will depend on the number of enrolments from the school's home zone. If the number of out of zone applications exceed the number of places, students will be decided by ballot. A ballot if required, willl be supervised by a Justice of the Peace, or a sworn member of the NZ Police and will be held on; Wednesday 8th September 2021. Within three school days of this date, we will send you a letter informing you of the outcome of the ballot. If your application is successful, you will be asked to confirm your acceptance or rejection of the offered place within 14 days of the date on the school's letter. If you do not respond within the 14 day period, the place will be offered to the first person on the waiting list established by the ballot. Please also note that the annual school *Open Night' will be held at Te Atatü Intermediate on Tuesday 3rd August from 6.30 - 8.00pm, beginning in the school hall.
