Family owned and operated, our dynamic company has 40 years of rural machinery manufacturing experience. We currently have a position open for someone to join our team as a Fitter & Turner. Experience isn't essential, but a methodical and accurate attitude is a must to learn in this role with the opportunity to develop into an apprenticeship. The job includes operating a manual lathe and mill, working to drawings and repairs on effluent equipment. The successful candidate will take a proactive and positive approach to work, and demonstrate a proven ability to: Communicate and work well in a team Adapt and learn in a changing and growing environment Implement effective internal systems and troubleshoot as necessary Follow health and safety requirements Experience or knowledge of the dairy farming industry would be an advantage but is not essential. However, it is important to bring enthusiasm and drive to succeed in this busy role.
