PrimePort is seeking an enthusiastic Safety & Environment Officer who will provide safety, health and environmental compliance support across the Port. Reporting to the Health, Safety & Security Manager, the Safety & Environment Officer will successfully engage with staff, contractors, customers and other port users to monitor performance, ensure compliance with environment, health and safety procedures and common user safety rules and facilitate education and training to improve port user compliance. While knowledge of health and safety and environmental management in a port operational environment would be an advantage, essential to your success in this role will be the ability to build rapport and effective working relationships across the wide array of port users. We are prepared to provide the requisite training to someone with the right personal attributes.
