Wheelie bin service has STARTED! Error ALERT There is an error in the Information booklet. Glass bottles are permitted in the glass crate. In your booklet cross this wine bottle icon out! How to place kerbside Lightbulbs or NO flourescent tubes Tableware Broken Mirror or window glass Rubbish only day Rubbish and recycling day glass Glass crates are for glass. such as wine bottles, beer bottles, RTD bottles, jars. No lightbulbs or flourescent tubes, no tableware (ie, drinking glasses), no broken glass, no mirror or window glass. Apologies for the confusion. Place the crate(s) and wheelie bins in a row on the verge outside your house as close as possible to the road. Place bins one metre apart. This is so that the lever arms of the new state-of-the-art truck can pick the bin up. Close the lids on the bins. Don't overfill bins. Lid must close shut. The bins should face the road (ie, Council logo facing the road). Haven't got bins? Got two sets of bins? Call Council on 885 0340. Do not restrict access to driveways.
