Wednesday 27th - Get Creative in the Ed Centre Craft activities including making 3D bugs and colourful sea creatures. From 10am. Cases, pouches, boxes, containers, pockets, cylinders, kete, chests and trunks - these are all on display for our new exhibition. Objects can be valued for their practical or ornate qualities, and this is commonly mirrored in how they are contained. The exhibition showcases practical and decorative casings from the Whängarei Museum collection. Thursday 28th - Space Science in the Ed Centre Find out about the vast universe beyond earth. Launch a rocket! From 10am.
