Workshop Technician Due to the retirement of our Workshop Technician, a vacancy has now become available to maintain the tools and equipment in our newly built workshops and prepare materials for the teachers in the Technology Department. The position is 15-20 hours per week, term time only. The job will entail: Carrying out safety checks on tools and equipment Maintaining/repairing the tools and equipment in the workshops Supporting teachers to prepare materials for classes Reporting to the Technology Department any issues or material shortages Taking deliveries of materials. We are looking for a person who is able to work in a busy co-ed secondary school environment. You will be comfortable interacting with students and teachers in the workshops and have an organised and proactive attitude. A workshop or engineering background would be advantageous as you must have the knowledge and ability to maintain workshop tools and machinery.
