As a city we stayed strong, we've looked after each other, and we saw the spirit of our city shine. This is what makes Hamilton such a great place to live. We need to look at our city as a whole and promote long term projects that will make our city greater. We can push for projects like the extension of the Waikato Expressway and the Waikato Medical School. Hamilton has an amazing potential in the light manufacturing and IT services sector coupled with a strong agricultural base that Government initiatives can support. These are real and substantive initiatives that will help Hamilton grow into a more successful and vibrant city Thank you goes to all the essential workers who worked tirelessly over the Level 3 and 4 lockdown periods. The patience and co- operation of Hamiltonians allowed New Zealand to flatten the curve and reduce the opportunity for community transmission. Again, thank you to everyone for their hard work and patience over the last few months. Our shared hard work has meant New Zealand can now recover and move forward into the future. Hamilton is a fast growing city with immense potential with its location and productive business. My role as a Member of Parliament is to support our communities and fight for the interests of our city and its constituents. I have a record of supporting local issues and the community. As Hamiltonians we can achieve much in the future and we have great potential. together we can deliver that future for our city. This has included advocating for better roading and as a result we gained the Waikato Expressway and the Wairere Drive Ring Road. National fought for new schools in the North East of the electorate and Rototuna Junior and Senior High Schools resulted.
