NOTIFICATION OF CONCESSION APPLICATION Department of Conservation Te Papa Atawhai The Minister of Conservation gives notice under section 17SC of the Conservation Act 1987 of an application by Thames Coromandel District Council to construct a public boardwalk at Whangamat Marginal Strip. This application exclusively refers to Stage 1 of the boardwalk construction. Stage 1 seeks approval to construct a boardwalk alongside Esplanade Drive only. Any future applications to construct additional stages of the boardwalk will be notified separately. The proposed term is 30 years.
