MARLBOROUGH DISTRICT COUNCIL ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OFFICER Mo tnei trangi mahi | About the role You will be part of the Finance department which consists of 20 staff who make up a supportive team that always ensure their deadlines are met. Reporting to the Credit Controller, this role is responsible for the processing of invoices for resource consents, water rates, and other charges. This role also prepares reconciliations and assists with other accounts receivable functions. This role requires an eye for detail, good communication skills, and a reasonable understanding of accounting concepts. Ko ng wheako u | About you This role requires someone who: Has accounts experience preferably in accounts receivable Has a high level of accuracy and excellent organisational skills. Is computer literate and has a good understanding of finance systems. Is self-motivated, has a positive attitude, and can communicate well with people. If you are a team player and well organised, with good initiative, then this may be the role for you.
