Matinees July 11/12 4pm Directed by Ewen Coleman The Raft is a compelling drama, set on the West Coast of New Zealand, in which four characters wrestle with the loss of a young child. Mark, played by Jonathan Knox and Tonia, played by Rachel Southby, arrive at the family bach for a weekend away in the hope of saving their marriage. Unbeknown to Mark, Tonia has colluded with his mother, Shirley, played by Ruth Sarratt, to reunite Mark and his father Jack, played by Doug Buchanan, after a two-year family rift. Showtimes July 7-17 at 8pm Chaos, accusations and remonstrations ensue as the family attempts to patch things up. couple of twists in the plot keep things interesting as the tale unravels and the true story unfolds.
