NGA TAWA DIOCESAN SCHOOL ngatawa.school.nz Head of Equestrian Fulltime salaried position Nga Tawa Diocesan School is home to New Zealand's largest on-site school equestrian centre. We currently stable 82 horses and 90 of our students ride. We are seeking a Head of Equestrian to lead our vibrant Equestrian Academy and ensure our girls are given every opportunity to excel in their chosen sport of equestrian. Set amongst 90 acres of rolling Rangitikei farmland, Nga Tawa provides all the facilities young riders need - including three all-weather arenas, a canter track, covered yards and an equine studies classroom. We also have school-owned or leased horses and ponies for girls who don't have their own. The successful applicant will be entitled to six weeks annual leave a year. Hours of work are 40 hours per week but may fluctuate depending on business requirements. We're looking for someone to: Execute robust strategic plans and policies Coach and mentor young women Lead a team of high-calibre coaches Oversee the management of our stables Ensure the long-term success of Nga Tawa's Equestrian Academy Onsite accommodation may be available to the successful applicant.
