We have the lovely ladies on our reception desk, greeting people as they arrive for procedures, surgery or to visit a loved one: taking phone calls: answering queries; running errands looking after our specialists and patients who use Franklin Specialist rooms and anything else we ask them to help with. Everything is done with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. The people no-one ever sees are those ladies working hard to make sure everything runs smoothly in our bookings and accounts teams The bookings crew do the hard work making sure everything is in place for our patients when they arrive, whether that is talking to the insurance companies, our DHB colleagues, ACC, or your specialist and their support staff. They are also tasked with ensuring your paperwork has been received and completed so our clinical teams can do their job Our accounts team are busy doing the hard job of ensuring that all the bills get paid. They contact insurance companies, ACC and our lovely patients. Ensuring payment of bills is the only way we can continue to offer the service we do to our patients and their whanau. We are grateful for their patience and understanding when we have to go through this process which can be difficult for everyone involved.
