An update from Simon O'Connor MP for Tamaki ANZAC Day: announced. We are fortunate to live in a country with such freedoms, hard fought for and maintained. At the heart of our education announcement is a commitment to teaching children an hour of reading, writing, and maths every day. We also want to further support our teachers, with many having told us they want further development to increase their competency and confidence. Linked to all of this is an ability to assess achievement so that families can better understand how a student is progressing.
