The creation of a Te Aroha Health and Welness Hub and Waharoa Business Hub, funded from the Provincial Growth Fund, is one step doser to a reality now the projects have moved into phase two. Last year we received approval for two applications to the Provincial Growth Fund totalling $1.7 million. Funding included $900,000 towards a feasibility study and business investment case for a Te Aroha Health and Wellness Tourism hub and $800,000 towards a feasibility study for a Waharoa Business Hub help grow your business weare Matamata-Piako The projects have moved into phase two, the business case, following the completion of the feasibilty studies. The studies analysed all relevant factors of each project to determine the possibility and probability of completing them successfuly. The Key Projects recommended for the Te Aroha, Health and Wellness Toursim Hub are Redevelopment of the Te Aroha Domain with initiatives such as a destination playground, interpretation and new croquet lawn.
