Staying away from home? Before the sleepover make sure that your child clearly understands personal boundaries and touching rules. Let them know that they can phone you at any time. Meet the caregivers before the stay. Check out the plans for the night including what supervision there will be. Communicate your expectations around social media activities to your child and the supervising adult/adults. Remind your child that they are the boss of their body and to listen to their own feelings.
