Whanau Resilience Kaimahi - Programme Design Role Full time (40 hours per week), One Year Fixed Term. Two positions available. Are you passionate about whanau centred solutions and a violent free Hauraki? Whanau Resilience is an initiative that aims to create strong, resilient communities where whanau are supported to live violence free and to eliminate violence for the next generation. The Hauraki Family Violence Intervention Network (HFVIN) is looking for two innovative people to work closely with a collective of agencies across Waikato to co-design a new and exciting whanau centred programme. In this position your focus will be on collaboration, innovation and reflective learning. You will be able to engage with whanau across the Thames-Coromandel and Hauraki Regions, hear their voices and incorporate this into the design of the programme. We are looking for two highly skilled individuals, preferably with some service design experience, however the role will be supported by a Pouwhakataki who will help guide you and your peers in the design process. The key skills required for this role are: Advanced understanding around the dynamics, impact and prevention of family violence Be able to engage with our local communities Be open minded and willing to learn and share Excellent communication skills that support collaborative working relationships with a range of networks and agencies Knowledge and understanding of Tikanga Maori principles and values The ability to incorporate local whanau voices into the design A good sense of humour and commitment to Safe, respectful and peaceful relationships in Hauraki/Coromandel.
