Reporting to the Foreman Caretaker, the Caretaker & General Hand role sits within the Workshop team and is primarily responsible for efficiently undertaking a variety of tasks, including: Vegetation control, maintenance of lawns and gardens Rubbish collection and disposal Plant operation . Assisting with ships lines and environmental sampling To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to work independently, combined with a positive and energetic approach to completing your physical tasks. You will have clear communication skills and a commitment to providing high levels of service and work at all times. Horticulture experience is desirable, and you will hold a full NZ drivers licence, including Heavy Trade endorsement. Port Marlborough are a small and busy team, and you will need to have real drive and energy, good initiative, great communication skills and a deep commitment to working safely.
