Discover the Coach House Museum 1912 Burford Lorry In our collection can be found a very rare 1912 Burford Lorry, the only surviving truck of those purchased by the Cheltenham Dairy Factory after they'd seen service in WW1 as ambulances and supply carriers. It was eventually sold on to Mr Ted Sinclair, a Cheltenham farmer, and after years of farm service was parked under the trees to peacefully crumble away. Looking for a reno project in 1999, neighbour Keith Ireland retrieved it and restoration began, with the assistance of Vern Jensen and Rex Corpe. On the tray is stacked a range of milk and cream cans complete with their supplier's factory number. Open 10am to 4pm, 7 days Except Good Friday, Christmas Day, and the moming of ANZAC Day. 121 South Street, Feilding Ph: 06 323 6401 The Coach House Pioneering to Prosperity www.coachhousemuseum.nz Discover the Coach House Museum 1912 Burford Lorry In our collection can be found a very rare 1912 Burford Lorry, the only surviving truck of those purchased by the Cheltenham Dairy Factory after they'd seen service in WW1 as ambulances and supply carriers.
