Fun Run A great Success At Henderson Intermediate! Last week saw every student at Henderson Intermediate take part in the Annual Fun Run. Every student over the last few weeks has been gathering their sponsors for the event. All funding that was raised will be spent on Volleyball Nets and Posts. This is so that durin break times students can play volleyball. Sports Co-Ordinator Kieran Paterson was delighted with the money raised this year "Students raised $3870.00 To add to that, the Board of Trustees decided that they should match what students raised, dollar for dollar "Kieran said In the School Assembly on Friday, Board Chairman Ron Crawford announced the winning class and the overall top student. The winning class, was the class that had the greatest number of students that went out and got sponsors. The winning student was the student who raised the congratulated. This winning class will havea pizza lunch for their efforts and the winning greatest amount of money. "Room 28 did a fantastic job with the number of students that took part. This class made a huge effort to get everyone buying into this schoolwide activity The we can do it attitude shown by Room 28 students is to be l be used student, Judah Peri from Room 2, who raised $855.00, receives a $50.00 Warehouse Voucher from the Board."
