St Johrn Here for Life St John: Friends at Thames Hospital Serving the needs of our communities St John Friends of the Emergency Department (FEDs) provide comfort and support to patients and their relatives whilst in the Emergency Department. St John Hospital Friends visit the ward and provide someone to sit and talk to for patients facing lengthy stays. We need more volunteers for these. St John will provide full training. This is a truly rewarding opportunity that will make a difference in people's lives. No clinical requirements.
