St John Here for Life St John in Thames Free Emergency Medical Information Booklets A big thank you to Read Bros Hardware Thames for sponsoring the reprint of our popular Emergency Medical Information booklets. These booklets are available free from the St John Opportunity shop and Thames pharmacies. The booklets provide ambulance and other emergency responders with essential information in an emergency when patients are not able to do so themselves. The booklets come in a plastic envelope with magnets attached so they can be attached to the outside of the fridge and readily found. St John applauds the support and sponsorship from Read Bros Hardware that have enabled us to continue with this valuable tool to our community. Contact us, as below, if you need help obtaining one. St John Friends of the Hospital service. St John volunteer staff provide support services at Thames Hospital. Our volunteers provide comfort and support to patients and their relatives who are in the Emergency Department. They also visit the ward and provide someone to sit and talk to for patients facing lengthy stays. How can you help? We need more volunteer staff for our Hospital duties roster.
