StJohn Here for Life St John in Thames St John believes it is important to develop strong communities to help people live independently, get the social connections they need and improve their wellbeing We at, St John Thames, provide several programmes to our community like our health shuttles, our Caring callers, our Friends of the Emergency Department, Friends of the Hospital, ASB St John in Schools, and our Youth. Also, we have our services like First Aid training, Medical alarms, Ambulance, and the Opportunity shop. In Thames, we host and administer the Social Isolation Forum. This initiative is to bring together the agencies, organisations, and individuals who have an interest in the area of Social Isolation and Social Connectiveness of the Thames Community. We strive that the forum will: create awareness, educate highlight research, create referral pathways, and provide a toolbox of resources and services available to help address the issue locally Our next forum is at St John, 1102 Queen Street, Thames on Tuesday 7th May from 10am to 12md.
