One of my most favourite, very diligent and exceptionally smart patient's came to see me today and I was gobsmacked. Advanced, aggressive root decay. How, why?! This is a person with good oral hygiene, they come to see the hygienist every six months, their diet is Unbeknownst to them, the "natural healthy" toothpaste they changed to does not contain fluoride .Unwittingly they now havea costly, difficult to manage dental problem. Message being, there are numerous products out there and many of them are excellent, just check what they contain and if you're uncertain ask your dentist for some guidance.
