This charge is only expected to generate about $30,000 in revenue, The Government has regulations, which previously mited the fised and it goes towards the costs of managing generation connections on our network. recently changed the Low Faed Distribution Charge Discount Too much generation injecting into one part of the network can cause issues which affects other consumers Power Trust will pay a distnbution charge discount for so we incur costs to manage and review applicatons. and to monitor the network. We consider it fair to recover these charges from the consumers who have generation at their properties, rather than from all customers Northpower, with the support of the Northpower Electric at their principal place of residence This cap wil ut by 15e each year for 5 years, and will then be removed completely.
