What's happening in your community All info on changes to Council services and facilities can be found at waimakariri.govt.nz/covid19 Thanks for Sharing Your Feedback The Council were pleased with the amount of feedback about speed limits in and around our towns. WAIMAKARIRI Almost 300 people provided feedback on the review that covered 84 roads in and around Oxford, English Language Classes Cust. Kaiapoi, Ohoka, Rangiora, Woodend and Pegasus, as well as some unsealed roads around Tuahiwi and Ashley. WANT TO TRY AN E-SCOOTER? Feedback included things like asking for speeds to be reviewed on roads outside of areas we were seeking feedback on, comments or suggestions including new footpaths, parking spaces, additional measures to reduce speed and concems around enforcement. Is English your second language? Come along to our classes to improve your speaking and listening skills. We cover some interesting topics in a friendly and welcoming space with opportunities to secialise with your classmates toe.
