Chisnallwood Intermediate School CHISNALLWOOD INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL An innovative school rich in resources and opportunities Kia Ora Koutou, Term 4 has been very hectic as we continue to live our official motto; Challenge the margins of time, and explore what is beyond and our unofficial motto, the school of opportunities Our enrolments have been phenomenal once again and we will be the biggest Intermediate in the South Island in 2021. This is due to the wonderful education opportunities that an Intermediate can provide and testament to the hard work our staff do for the students. Here are some of the Term 4 highlights: Music - Jazz band playing at rest homes and Kahui ako ECES, Itinerant evenings to celebrate individual successes, Jazz band playing at the Big Band festival and Riverside market. Upcoming - Music groups playing at the NZEI graduation and the New Brighton Santa parade. If you get a chance check out the extraordinary quality that Mrs Bell our wonderful music teacher produces with these amazing young people. Sport - Athletics day. CAIMS summer sports, Sports development challenge, InterIntermediate athletics, duathlon and triathlon. Upcoming - Sports prizegiving to celebrate individual and team successes. Culture - Cultural festival at Hormcastle Other - Orana park science trip, school camps at our own campground at Takamatua, Rotary Honour roll dinner, Go Kart race. Upcoming Events Big day out v School prizegiving School formal Talent Quest We certainly have a lot going on at Chisnallwood! Most importantly. we continue to provide an outstanding learning environment that meets the needs of our students. We are still taking enrolments for 2021 and Iam happy to conduct personal tours at 12pm every Thursday.
